Agreement to Terms
By accessing our website (njwaterproofpros.com) or contracting services with NJ Waterproof Pros LLC ("Company"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not access the website or schedule service.
Scope of Services and On-Site Inspections
NJ Waterproof Pros provides subterranean basement waterproofing, crawl space encapsulation, foundation crack repair, sump pump installation, and related structural moisture management across the State of New Jersey.
- Free Initial Moisture Audits: Initial on-site 27-point inspections and laser evaluations are provided free of charge to confirmed property owners or prospective buyers under contract.
- Written Proposals: All cost figures generated by our website cost calculators are estimates for budgeting purposes. Official binding project costs are provided in formal written proposals after an on-site physical inspection of foundation dimensions, footer conditions, and exterior discharge routing.
- NJ Home Improvement Contractor Registration: All contracting services are executed under NJ HIC License #13VH11849200 and comply with the New Jersey Contractors' Registration Act.
Municipal Permits and Uniform Construction Code (UCC)
- Township Permitting: When required by the local municipality under the New Jersey Uniform Construction Code (NJAC 5:23), the Company prepares and files building and electrical subcode permit packets.
- Property Owner Cooperation: The property owner agrees to grant municipal construction inspectors reasonable physical access to the premises for required rough and final close-out inspections.
Lifetime Transferable Deed Warranties
- Warranty Coverage: Our Hydro-Channel XL™ interior sub-slab French drain systems and Carbon-Kevlar structural wall repairs carry a Lifetime Transferable Warranty covering defects in materials and water seepage within treated zones.
- Transfer to Next Buyer: The warranty is tied to the physical property deed and automatically transfers to subsequent property purchasers upon transfer of title, with zero transfer fees or renewal surcharges.
- Exclusions: The warranty does not cover water intrusion originating from plumbing pipe bursts, exterior roof gutter overflows above grade, municipal sewer backups, or structural tampering by unauthorized third parties.
Limitation of Liability
The Company maintains full $2,000,000 commercial general liability and workers' compensation insurance. The Company's total liability arising out of any project shall not exceed the total contract price paid by the customer.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
